Focus on Future Roadmap towards 60 MT

Dipka, 23 August 2026. CMD SECL Shri Harish Duhan visited Dipka Mega Mine today and reviewed key operational and developmental activities, with special emphasis on future planning and the roadmap towards achieving 60 MT coal production.
During the extensive mine visit, CMD inspected the contractual patch, coal face and all major coal stockyards, reviewing production, coal availability and operational preparedness.
In view of the ongoing monsoon season, Shri Duhan also reviewed monsoon preparedness and associated works, including measures for managing the Lilagar River channel and ensuring safe water flow, along with the proposed diversion of the road connecting Gevra and Dipka—both critical for the mine’s long-term expansion and operational continuity.
Interacting with the team, CMD emphasised advance planning, timely execution of critical infrastructure and coordinated efforts to unlock Dipka’s future production potential and sustainably scale up operations towards the 60 MT milestone.
